
MIDA and Dunham-Bush Strengthen Malaysia’s Data Centre Ecosystem with Green Cooling Technologies
Dunham-Bush, one of Malaysia’s leading manufacturers in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, today hosted a data centre-focused seminar in collaboration with the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), its Strategic Investment Ecosystem Partner.
Held at Dunham-Bush’s manufacturing facility, the seminar—titled “Keep Your DC Cool”—welcomed over 60 key stakeholders from the data centre industry, government agencies, and supporting sectors. The event focused on the vital role of precision cooling in ensuring uptime, operational resilience, and energy efficiency in mission-critical infrastructure. It further underscored Malaysia’s growing reputation as a regional hub for advanced, sustainable climate solutions.
In addition to expert knowledge-sharing sessions, participants toured Dunham-Bush’s AHRI-certified testing facilities and witnessed a live demonstration of the company’s latest Air-Cooled Magnetic Bearing Chiller (ACM-AE), featuring its Rapid Recovery capability—an innovation designed to enhance system uptime and accelerate cooling recovery
The seminar highlighted the importance of strong public-private collaboration in strengthening Malaysia’s data centre value chain.
